Por eso un mismo tema se ve de tan distinto según el artista que lo trate. 

Por eso no hay una única visión del hombre/mujer o del mundo.

Por eso no hay un sólo hombre/mujer.

Por eso no hay un sólo mundo.

David elFraile nos lo muestra con esta serie íntima, desnuda de colorido, de subjetividades, de interpretaciones. Desnuda.

The poet Antonio Machado said

'The eye you see is not

an eye because you see it;

That maybe the reason why the same matter could it be seen in many ways depending the artist that treats it.

Maybe that is the reason why there is not an only way to see a man/woman or the world.

Perhaps that is why there is not only a man/woman.

Could it be why there is not only a world.

ESPACIO HOLMES - JAIME GONZALEZ - De Madrid al Norte - 09/31 de Octubre de 2014

El artista acaba de hacer un apunte, y tiene preparada la caja de acuarelas y el agua junto a él. Mientras lo hacía, pensaba cómo iniciar el trabajo, qué gama de colores son los más adecuados y cómo va a jugar con el agua. 

La tensión comienza a aparecer, pues el resultado es incierto en la acuarela. Ni siquiera el mismo artista puede lograr dos obras iguales, porque el agua es imprevisible. Toda acuarela no está exenta de estos encuentros y desencuentros difíciles de predeterminar, donde los objetos parecen deshacerse y volverse a construir en su propio color. Por eso cada acuarela es una joya única. Como lo son las de Jaime Gonzalez.

The artist has just made a sketch, and has prepared the watercolour box and the water besides him. While he was doing it, he was thinking how could he start  the work, what range of colours are most suitable and how is he going to play with the water.

The tension begins to appear, because the outcome is uncertain in watercolour. Not even the same artist can achieve two equal works, because the water is unpredictable. all the watercolours are not exempt of this agreements and disagreements difficult to predetermine, where objects seem to get rid and re-build in their own colour. That is the reason why each watercolour is unique jewel. As are those drawn by Jaime Gonzalez.

Dibujar Madrid a partir del fin con el que la observamos. En este caso, se trata de los análisis y vinculaciones de distintas estructuras urbanas de la ciudad para el PFC de Arquitectura, que tuvo como objeto actuar en las inmediaciones del Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

No sé si habré entendido esta ciudad alguna vez: siempre me he limitado a vivirla. Tal vez constato un Madrid sin retorno, pero al que siempre vuelvo. ¿Para qué?

Cuando las vacaciones se van acabando, deseamos estar ya mismo en casa. Entonces, ¿por qué ir de vacaciones?

Preguntas. Preguntas es lo único que hacen quienes buscan un sentido hasta en la sombra de las piedras.

To draw Madrid from the purpose for which we observed it. In this case, it is part of the analysis and linkages of different urban structures of the city used for the Degree Final Project (Architecture), acting nearby the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

I do not know if I will ever understand this city: I have always be limited to live in it. Maybe I state a 'no return city', but I always come back to it. For what?

As the holidays are ending, we want to be at home as soon as possible, right now. So, why go on vacation?

Questions. Questions is all what those who are searching for the meaning in the shadow of the stones do.

ESPACIO HOMES - Pablo Pérez de Miguel - DIBUJAR ES CONSTRUIR - Julio 2014

Dibujar es dar un largo paseo a la deriva, barruntar posibilidades e imposibles, descubrir que en algún lado se tendría que encontrar la raya del horizonte, tensada por las limitaciones propias y las que nos imponemos al proyectar los arquitectos. Al estar amparado hoy en día el dibujo en la previa búsqueda de razones que dan pie al sentido de toda organización arquitectónica, el dibujo expresará esas motivaciones externas, y las potenciará gracias a la interrelación de los espacios contenidos en uno o varios volúmenes. 

Por tanto dibujar es aprehender mi exterior y generar una idea que pueda expresarse en arquitectura. Es saber que mi pensamiento, contenido en esos dibujos, puede construirse de manera real.

Y sólo eso debiera bastar para procurar estar siempre, lo más acertadamente posible, con un lápiz en la mano y temeroso de sus consecuencias.

Drawing is a long way to drift, to think about possibilities and impossibles, to discover that somewhere you would have to find the line of the horizon, stretched by our limitations and those that we, as architects, imposed to ourselves. Drawing is being covered today on previous research regarding reasons that could support the sense of an architectural organization, so drawing express these external motivations ando boost thank the interrelation of spaces contained in one or more volumes. 

So drawing is to apprehendmy exterior and generate an idea that could be expressed through architecture. It is to know that my thoughts, contanined in these drawings, could be constructed in a real way.

And only that shgould be enough to try to have always, as accuarately as possible, with a pencil on the hand, being afraid of the consecuences.

Exposición de José Ignacio Lucía Orrite en el Centro Cultural Valdebernardo, Madrid - 15 al 31 de mayo de 2014

Expone estos días José Ignacio Lucía Orrite en el Centro Cultural de Valdebernardo (15-31 de mayo de 2014).
La calidad de sus paisajes urbanos y la extraordinaria belleza de sus paisajes, siempre sugerentes, nos impulsó a visitarle en la inauguración, para darle personalmente la enhorabuena por la riqueza y variedad de su trabajo. Algunas fotos tomadas durante la inauguración son testimonio de esta impresión.

Jose Ignacio Lucia Orrite has an exhibition at the Valdebernardo's Cultural Center (15th-31st May 2014).
The quality of his urban landscapes and the extraordinary beuty of his landscapes,a lways evocative, has enocurage us to visit him at the opening, so we could personally congratulate him for the richness and variety of his work. Some photgraphs taken during the event are testimony of this impression.

¿Cómo puede transmitirse la incertidumbre?
Un encuadre que no abarque todo lo observado, tal y como pinta Edward Hopper, muchos de los magistrales cuentos de Raymond Carver.
¿Qué va a suceder tras la escena capturada por Hopper, qué rumbo tomará la historia de Carver tras una frase desgarrada y sencilla?
Podría respondernos José Ignacio con su obra. Acérquense a contemplarla. No saldrán igual que entraron, seguro.


How could uncertainty be transmitted?
A view that would not cover everything that it is been observed, as paintings done by Edward Hopper, or many master stories written by Raymond Carver.
What will happen after the scene captured by Hopper, which way will take the Carver's story after a simple but torn sentence?
Jose Ignacio could answer us with his work. Please, come to contemplate it. You would not come out as you entered, for sure.

Las denuncias pueden ser por escrito, a viva voz, susurradas en noches ambiguas y de sobresaltos. Mundo de sordos y ciegos, donde las caras miran hacia un lado huidizo, a ningún lugar.
Denuncia o muere, todo menos ser un pusilánime.
Hoy Marta Pinilla nos da conciencia, nos brinda luz, con su mano artística, un martillo poético en su mano para levantar toda posibilidad de conformidad.
Abre tu mano.

Complaints may be requested in writing, orally, whispered in ambiguous and frights nights. This world of deaf and blinds, where faces almost look to a flighy side, to anywhere at all.
Complaint or die, be anything except a pusillanimous.
Today Marta Pinilla gives us awareness, light, with her artistic hand, a poetic hammer in her hand to raise any possibility of conformity.

ESPACIO HOLMES - Juan Manuel Campos. JARDINES. Abril 2014

A veces hasta se sueña y por alguna razón, viene alguien y te pone la mano sobre los ojos y te dice, ¿no será mejor así? Y tu sonríes por dentro -por fuera apenas quedan sonrisas francas- y para qué y cuándo y esta mañana escampó en el parque, lo ha recogido Juan Manuel Campos, míralo, se parece a Rusiñol, a Mir, a Sorolla, tiene algo de Hopper, pero no, es otra cosa.

Uno entorna los ojos, y si está frente al sol le parece ver en los párpados, allí lejos, ingrávidas, las glándulas de Meibomio, qué nombre para un asesino de cómic apostado tras el follaje, o será el rojo irritado de esa piel protectora ocular, o vértebras de dragón o rayos sintéticos de terciopelo que atraviesan las hojas de los árboles y nos queman, como arden los premios que atesora Juan Manuel, si bien quedan por llegar muchos aún. 

Y con los ojos abiertos, la emoción de ver recobrado un paisaje perdido y actualizado desborda por el lacrimal gotas tibias vacías, con las que uno quisiera guarecerse de algo y de todo y de nada, casi.

Si pierden el paso de ir a esta exposición, no digan que no se avisó.

Sometimes even dreams, and for some reason, someone comes and puts his hand on your eyes and tells you, is it not better in this way? And you smile inside (outside there are only a few free smiles yet), and for what and when and this morning it stopped raining in the park and Juan Manuel Campos has painted it, look, seems like Santiago Rusinol, Joaquim Mir, Joaquin Sorolla, the painting has something of Edward Hopper, but no, it is something else.

But one closes the eyes, and if you are facing the sun you seem to see in the eye lids, far away, weightless, the meibomian glands, what a name for a comic murderer laid behind the foliage, or it will be the red irritated of that ocular protective skin,or vertebrae dragon or synthetic velvet rays crossing the leaves of the trees and burning us, like those treasured painting awards collected by Juan Manuel, although many are still to come.

And with open eyes, the excitement of seeing recovered a lost and updated landscape overflows the lacrimal with warm and empty tear drops that you would wanted shelter from almost anything and everything and nothing.
