Exponer tu obra es una excusa para algo que apetece mucho más: reunirte de nuevo con los amigos, y con aquellos que increíblemente -por qué no decirlo- se han sentido atraídos por algo que vieron en alguna exposición anterior. Qué raro, en esos círculos que somos, cerrados, abiertos, según. Habrá que revisar el perímetro. Heterogénea recoge diferente temática y técnica, de eso trata, o se pretende.
To exhibit your work is only an excuse for something you really want more: meet up again with friends, and with those incredibily -why not say, have been attracted by something they saw in a previous exhibition. El óleo sobre lienzo del tarjetón que he usado para dar a conocer la exposición se llama "Bodegón rosa", pero no es ni mi época ni el signo de nuestros tiempos. Recoge ese momento sereno tras una previa agitación, momento que persiste, aún no acabado.
The oil on canvas shown in the email that I sent to introduce this exhibition is called "Pink Still Life", but it's not my time or the Sign of Our Times. It is the representation catched in that serene moment after a previous agitation, a moment that it could persist, not finished yet.
Las acuarelas tienen como protagonista fundamentalmente el paisaje, variado, pues recorre distintas Comunidades Autónomas: Galicia, Castilla-León, Navarra, Madrid, procurando además recoger las estaciones del año.
The protagonist of the watercolors are landscapes from different spanish areas: Galicia, Castilla-Leon, Navarra, Madrid. It is also the intentio to show the disparity of the seasons.
La pequeña serie sobre el Río Tambre nos habla del paisaje cercano a Ponte Maceira, en primavera. Los pescadores se sitúan a lo largo de 9 km. en sus orillas, acotados entre el Puente de la Magdalena y Barrié de la Maza (para los arquitectos, recuérdese la obra de Mansilla & Tuñón en Galicia realizada para la Fundación, Premio FAD 2007 entre otros), y es en uno de esos descansos donde se captó la imagen del pescador preparando la caña.
The small series concerning the Tambre River regards the landscape towards Ponte Maceira, during spring time. Fishermen are located along 9 km on its banks, between Puente de la Magdalena and Barrie la Maza (I remember to the architects that might read this, Barrie La Maza Fund Project done by Mansilla & Tunon, FAD 2007 Award), and is in one of those breaks in which the image of the fisherman preparing the cane was taken.

La playa, ese lugar donde uno va a descansar del trabajo y de paso a descansar también del propio cansancio que brinda la playa, es la de Canelas, cercana a Sanxenxo, uno de esos días que están despejados pero no lo están, porque en cualquier minuto el viento y las nubes y el mar picado y qué frío y cariño será mejor volver a casa.
The beach, that place where oneself goes to rest from work and also to rest from the fatigue that the beach creates on summertime, is the Canelas Beach, near Sanxenxo, one of those days that are clear but they are not, because in any minute wind and clouds and chppy seas and cold and darling better go home.

Y Madrid tiene como representante también el inicio del otoño con el puente como objeto principal del casi extinto río Jarama.
And the beginnig of the Autumn is also the season taht represents Madrid, with the bridge as protagonist over an almost extinct Jarama River.

Por último, las aguadas capturan las "Puertas" de Madrid (Alcalá, Toledo, Hierro y San Vicente), jugando en las dos últimas como si de una tirada cromática de Andy Warhol se tratara. La imagen añadida de la Iglesia de las Calatravas permite rematar esta serie al aunar todo lo anterior, Puertas y un recinto sagrado, con la Puerta al Santuario Nuestra Señora de Valverde, en Fuencarral.
Finally, the watered ink paintings capture the 'Gates' of Madrid (Alcala Gate, Toledo Gate, Hierro Gate, San Vicente Gate), playing in the last two as if a color shot was done by Andy Warhol. The added image of Calatravas Church letts off this serie by combining all the previous matters, Gates and a Church, with Nuestra Señora de Valverde Sanctuary Gate.
