Nos trae Alba Cortázar Chinarro en diciembre el aire fresco estival del campo mediante una pintura suelta, se diría que impulsiva, pero sin embargo no exenta de reflexión: cómo transformar lo figurativo en abstracto, o más difícil aún, cómo lograr impresiones abstractas sin perder una cierta interpretación figurativa que bien el artista o el espectador tienen alojada en algún lugar de su memoria. Se sugieren paisajes castellanos a través de manchas desapacibles en ocasiones, con cielos de intensa luz.

December, the month in which Alba Cortazar brings us the fresh country air of the Summer. Through a free style, who knows if impulsive, but containing a previously deep reflection: the way to transform figurative items into abstract elements, or even more difficult, how to obtain abstract paintings wothout loosing some kind of figurative interpretation that maybe the artist, maybe the viewer, has hosted somewhere in the memory. Castilian landscapes are suggested thanks to bleak stains and skies of intense light.

ESPACIO HOLMES - Héctor Hernández Rosas - Noviembre 2013

A través de su trabajo, el escultor Héctor Hernández Rosas atrapa el proceso por el cual la ciudad se relaciona con uno mismo, de tal manera que lo que a ella le suceda en sus intersticios, nos afecta y marca profundamente. De ahí que sus "transfer" tengan tatuados en la piel fachadas haciéndose o a punto de desmoronarse, infraestructuras que parecen conducir a  algún lado, que sugieren algún tipo de comunicación. Ciudades en transformación continua, como un ser vivo, que adquiere representación en los papeles de arroz que ahora nos muestra en artista en la exposición mostrada en la Galería Espacio Holmes.

The sculptor Hector Hernandez Rosas catches through his work the process in which the city relates to oneself, so what what happens in its interstices, affects and marks us deeply. Thence his "transfer" have tattooed in the skin facades becoming or about to crumble, infrastructures that seem to lead somewhere, suggesting a kind of communication. Cities in continuous transformation, as an alive animal, acquiring representation on rice papers in the exhibition shown by the artist at Espacio Holmes Gallery.
